The Short Version

We do not sell your data. We do not share your data with advertisers. We collect only what's needed to make CrackerTracker work. That's it.

What We Collect

• Your name and email address (for your account)
• Cracker Barrel locations you check into, and when
• Your approximate GPS coordinates at the moment of check-in only, to verify proximity
• Optional profile info you provide: nickname, bio, home state, avatar photo

What We Do NOT Collect

• We do not continuously track your location
• We do not collect payment information
• We do not collect contacts, messages, or other app data from your device
• We do not use advertising trackers or analytics SDKs that sell data

How We Use Your Data

Your data is used solely to:

• Display your visit history, map, and badges
• Show your rank on the optional leaderboard (only if you opt in)
• Allow other users to see your profile (only the parts you choose to make public)

Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to any third party. We use Google Places API to locate nearby Cracker Barrels — your location query is sent to Google under their Privacy Policy, but we do not send your name or account details.

Data Retention & Deletion

Your data is retained for as long as your account is active. You may request complete deletion of your account and all associated data by contacting us. We will fulfill deletion requests within 30 days.

Security

Your data is stored securely and access is restricted. We follow industry-standard practices to protect your information.
